How it is used

Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably required for the enquiry, customer relationship, legal obligations and legitimate business records. Reasonable organisational and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission is completely risk-free.
Enquiry forms and NewVan Deal Alerts
National Auto Sales receives your name, email, optional phone number, vehicle requirements and the page where you enquire. Submissions are stored in the website’s hosted database, accessible only through the authorised owner inbox. A notification containing the enquiry reference and submission time is sent through Resend to National Auto Sales’ nominated email inbox. Customer contact details and messages remain in the protected owner inbox. Newsletter-only signups are stored separately and are not forwarded through this enquiry email service. We use these details to respond to your request and take steps toward a possible purchase; newsletter signup is separate and optional. Please do not submit bank details, identity documents or sensitive financial information.
Newsletter consent and unsubscribing
We record the email address, signup date, source page and the consent wording when you choose NewVan Deal Alerts. These emails cover van offers, buying advice and important market updates from National Auto Sales. You can unsubscribe using the link included with a newsletter, or email info@nationalautosales.co.uk. A minimal suppression record may be retained to honour your opt-out. Signup does not require a purchase and an enquiry does not require newsletter consent.
Hosting and retention of form records
Form records are processed through the ChatGPT Sites hosting service and its Cloudflare database infrastructure. Enquiries are reviewed and deleted when no longer needed, normally within 12 months unless a customer relationship or legal obligation requires longer. Newsletter records remain while you wish to receive updates; we review inactive records periodically. Proportionate website measurement
NewVan.co counts page views, short-lived anonymous sessions and clicks on call, email and WhatsApp links so we can understand which information is useful. This first-party measurement does not store names, email addresses, message content, full IP addresses or advertising profiles. Anonymous session keys are automatically removed after 14 days; daily totals are retained for performance comparisons.
